German physicist Wilhelm Röntgen’s accidental discovery of X-rays in 1895 was the first of many significant milestones in the field of radiology to bring about a transformation in the world of medicine. Their durable, ultra-thin, lightweight design makes them the ideal flat panel detector,” adds Calvache. In addition, the company also provides a growing line of wireless flat panel DR detectors that have tapered, recessed edges and a sure-grip backing, designed to offer new levels of handling, functionality, and diagnostic image quality.
What truly makes these flat panel detectors unique is their resistance to shock, vibration, scratches, and water and their high detector quantum efficiency (DQE), which provides high-quality images with low patient dose.
On the other hand, the company’s radiography equipment, U-arm, features a compact design with dual telescoping arm movement that permits installation in settings having ceiling heights of just eight feet. Its fully motorized movements can be automatically programmed to user-specific radiographic positions utilizing the intuitive touchscreen located on the tube or the hand-held remote control. A distinct feature of the software is its dynamic mode, using which an operator can change the detector angle, gantry height, and arm rotation.
